So Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize...
If this was say, 2011, the committee would have a legitimate excuse to award him the prize since by that point, we would hopefully be able to see how his policies have affected world diplomacy. He was nominated for the NPP two weeks after he took office, though. If he got the Nobel Peace Prize for intending to be a catalyst for change, then maybe there's hope for me yet.
But anyway, I'm not going to bash Obama for it unlike several conservatives I've come across on message boards. It's not like the man had any control over who gave him the award. Besides, I know he has the potential to facilitate positive changes in the future (one of many reasons why I voted for him). Being one of his supporters, I'd like to relay a hearty congrats to him.
